• Car theft in Jurupa Valley is nearly 3 TIMES higher than the national average — and higher than the California average, which is significant given the rate of motor vehicle theft in the state is already one of the highest in the country.

  • The rate of larceny (otherwise known as property crime against a home or business) is also 16% higher than the national average — and 18% higher than the rest of California’s cities!

  • These statistics aren’t comparing apples to oranges — Jurupa Valley’s property crime rate is HIGHER compared to similar-sized cities in California.

  • The chance of becoming a victim of property crime at your home or business in Jurupa Valley is 1 in 36 — a dismal crime record for women, children, and our most vulnerable in the community.

  • Statisticians call Jurupa Valley’s crime “a statistical rollercoaster” — but residents want off this ride!

Crime is spiking in the once-peaceful Jurupa Valley, and the picture isn’t pretty:

  • Jurupa Valley’s crime rate is 10% higher than in the rest of California — which is saying a lot, since California is experiencing its own violent crime wave.

  • In fact, the crime rate is 6% higher than the overall California average month-after-month.

  • Sadly, the crime rate in Jurupa Valley is 9% higher than our neighbors in the surrounding Riverside County area.

  • Jurupa Valley ranks in the bottom 10% as one of the least safe cities as it relates to violent crime.

  • 90% of California cities are SAFER from violent crime than Jurupa Valley!

It is clear that the residents of Jurupa Valley are suffering under the leadership of current City Council members Leslie Altamirano and  Guillermo Silva.

  • Jurupa Valley has a higher crime rate than 71% of California’s cities.

  • Crime statistics show that Jurupa Valley’s safety is worse than California’s worst-off cities — such as crime-ridden dense urban areas like Oakland, downtown Los Angeles, and San Francisco!

  • Property crime in Jurupa Valley is 24% higher than the national average — which includes struggling cities such as Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

BY-THE-NUMBERS: Sadly, it is clear that City Council members Leslie Altamirano and  Guillermo Silva are FAILING the people they claim to represent.

Radicals have engaged in an “unethical,” “immoral” plan to “sabotage” efforts to make cities safe again, says Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco. “…the public safety woes that we have in California — from homelessness to drug addiction to theft… the overall majority, almost 80% of Californians” want change and improvements to our public safety — except for a handful of radicals. — Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco

Let’s eradicate crime & demand a return of public safety to Jurupa Valley.
